Back then while I was still young, there exists no high-tech Xbox or Wii for us to play with. Such game consoles never even existed in our dreams back then. We did have game consoles back then that we really enjoyed, but they were not as advanced as the ones available now. One of my favorite games back then is “Donkey Kong”. It is a game about a carpenter and his pet ape who he mistreated. Then the ape escapes and kidnaps the girlfriend of the carpenter. In summary, the object of the game is to control the carpenter “Jumpman” though 4 stages to rescue his girlfriend form his ape.

The game, being a big hit back then, made the two main characters very popular in the gaming world. The big ape would be known as the same name as the game, which is Donkey Kong. Jumpman would eventually be known as the American-Italian plumber named Mario.

Mario is the worlds most famous character in gaming history. Because of his popularity, he has been in over 200 games of different genres And as a tribute to the most popular game, there have been many thing with the theme of Mario like a Super Mario house, Super Mario Bros Costumes. I have also seen giant lego statues.

I have never seen a person who does not know who is this Super Mario. Even if they are not crazy about Mario, I think some people at least know something about Mario. In fact, there are many people who are into the Mario craze. Some people Paint and design their houses to look like a level from the Super Mario Bros game, while others make furniture with the theme of Super Mario Bros. Back then, I recall that I also have been addicted to Super Mario. I remember owning lots of Super Mario Bros Costumes and play only Mario games even if I have a lot of games at home. I think that I still have some of my Super Mario Bros Costumes somewhere in my closer. I also remember that while walking I would habitually hum the gameplay music of the first level of Super Mario Bros! There are too many ways people express their love for Mario, but they will not fit this short article. But I think you get the idea of Mario’s popularity.

Super Mario Bros has become a big part of gaming history. I think that even in the future, Mario will still live on. Maybe in the future it is not uncommon to see houses and vehicles with the theme of Mario.
