Guaranteeing Your Senior Year Goes Well

0

After more than ten years of education, your final year of high school could be one of the best of your life. Many students have already gotten into to college, or they have at least gotten the admissions process underway. By halfway through the school year, they are qualified graduates, so they can relax, have some fun, and enjoy spending time with their high school friends before leaving for college. If you want to be able to make the most of your final year of high school, get a jump on all there is to do before graduation. Create a list of all you need to accomplish during your junior year and the summer between then and your final year. That way, halfway through the year, you can wrap things up and enjoy the ride. You can begin with having your senior pictures taken. Those living in the Ohio area can visit a Cincinnati photography studio for professional photographs they will cherish for a long time to come.

Once the photographs are taken, get college issues organized. Decide whether you are going and where you will go. Gather applications and materials for filling them in. Read through each and make a list of supplies you need, what the deadlines will be, and essay topics.

Keep in mind it is alright to us the same essay more than once, so if the questions are more general, try to use the same essay for more the one application. If appointments are needed, get them scheduled. Work months in advance so, once they are scheduled you can get them on your calendar and focus on other stuff.

Once you have the college stuff out of the way, focus on the year ahead. It may begin like every other school year, but soon it gets busy. Following the first of the year, you will be running around like crazy. Get on top of tasks as soon as you can. It is never too early to shop for graduation gifts for your friends. Consider shopping after Christmas for bargains. This way, your gifts are done and it will be less on your list for May and June.

If you will be speaking at events, start thinking about your speech material. Give yourself time for writing and practice. If the events around your graduation are less formal, be sure to shop for clothes and necessities for each party. Talk to friends about limos, dresses, and dinners as soon as you can. The earlier you get stuff done during your last year of high school, the more time there will be for fun.
